Mommy & Me with Nicole & Ryleigh!!!!

I first talked with Nicole over the phone the day the winner was announced and she was over the moon excited about this!!!  I immediately became inspired by her enthusiasm and wanted to make this as special as I could for her and Ryleigh.  We chatted for about 20 minutes getting to know each other, Ryleigh, what they like to do and details about what it is to come:)  I remember she said, “I am so excited and ready for whatever, rain or shine!!”  Eeeek……I was so excited!!!!  She mentioned she was an art major so I thought we’d end the session by doing something fun!!  So you NEED to see this entire Post to see what we did:)

We met at Christine’s to get her makeup applied and gorgeous all around…..a stunning momma!  Went to our location and you can see, feel the love that they share together.  Nicole is such a beautiful person inside and out and ABSOLUTELY loves her Ryleigh to pieces.  And the way that Ryleigh looks at her momma is something pretty special and that is what we captured the whole time and they made it easy.  You will see that it was nearly impossible to narrow down this post because this is a story of what Nicole and Ryleigh share and I was there to capture it all so they can look back at this day 20 years from now.  I had a great time getting to know you and I hope that you enjoy your photos!!

Mommy and Me Giveaway – The Photos!!

They’re here!!!!!  And what an awesome turnout for this!!  I am so excited and cannot wait to photograph the winner!!

Below you will find the photos of those beautiful families that have entered the Mommy and Me!!  Below each photo is the mom’s first name and last initial with a photo number.  Scroll down to find the photo you would like to vote on.  Then in the Blog comments section, type in the mom’s name with the number.  Example, “I vote for #3″, etc.  Feel free to show some love in the comments section for those families too!!:)  Remember ALL voters must like Jamie Olsen Photography Facebook Page and Blush Makeup Artistry Facebook Page for their votes to count.  Voting will run 1 week and end Saturday May 26th at 12 midnight!!!  After the tally, the winner will be announced!!!!  Then scheduled for their FREE session and makeup application AND spend $100 on your prints!!

She is such a bright, vivacious, gracious and beautiful woman and mom and her sweet little munchkin is incredibly fun, full of life and pretty much the cutest kiddo on the planet.     i vote for #7…in the years since lisa started having children, she has been faithful in finding a way to have pictures done 2 times per year every single year since their births…some years it was a struggle financially but it was so important for her to have those memories for her children as they grow, she always found a way!

It's About Mommy and Me!!

 I want to give back to all my FB “likers” something special!!  I love how you all support me and cheer me on….it truly means a lot; more than you even know!  This is something I have been thinking about for a while now.  As a mom myself, I really wish that I had more photos of me and my little ones together.  In fact, I don’t really have much of anything unless I have to ask dad to take a photo now and then!!  And when I do, it’s not in focus!:)  Photos with mommas and their kin melt my heart……..I love capturing those special moments that only a mom could have with their little one.  Like those little eskimo kisses, the way a mom looks when hugging their child, and a genuine smile just knowing mom is near!!  Those are the tiny details, candid moments that I soooooooo love to capture and hold onto forever!  And honestly, I think our little ones would love to see more of us moms in these photos with them when they get older and look through that scrapbook that you put together!!

So here is what I plan to do….

I am looking for some moms that would absolutely love some updated photos of them with their babes!  Giving you the chance to make some awesome memories!!  This could even be a surprise gift for dad on Father’s Day!  Dad’s LOVE photos of there families in their offices:)  Give some to the grandparents!!  AND what I want to give is a full outdoor session capturing you and your sweet babes together.  AND to make this even more exciting, Christine with Blush Makeup Artistry will apply/airbrush mom’s makeup for this session!!  Christine is one amazing makeup artist and I absolutely LOVE working with her!  Check out her page and her beautiful work:)

How you can make this happen….

You will need to email me a non-professional photo taken of you and your kiddos to email@jamieolsenphotography.com

Tell your friends and family to go to My Facebook page and “LIKE”  Jamie Olsen Photography

Then go to Christine with Blush Makeup Artistry and like her page as well

Go to my BLOG, http://blog.jamieolsenphotography.com and Find your snapshot in the A Mommy and Me Giveaway- The Photos Blog post.  All entries will be numbered so just place your vote for the photo number of that family that you want to win in the comments section!  (example: I vote for #4)

In order for your ”votes” to count, those individuals ”voting” on a photo  must be a fan of my page and Christine’s at time of count

Rally as many people you know to  help you WIN this!

4) Deadline for ALL entries is May 14th, 2012 at midnight!!  After entries are collected Blog Post will be created and POSTED!
